This project involved collaboration with multiple designers and an engaged client throughout the design phase. From the free-flowing, organic shapes of the bars to the precise detailing of the lighted planters, each component required focused attention and coordination. As a wood-framed building, floor deflection under the weight of our millwork had to be considered from the very beginning. In addition, the absence of an elevator large enough to accommodate our materials meant that everything had to be lifted into place by crane.
